The GASCO Calibration Gas - Air is a calibration gas cylinder containing compressed air. It has a capacity of 103L and is made of aluminum. The cylinder has a CGA-590 outlet connection that is compatible with regulators and flowmeters. The air meets ASTM D1142, ISO 6141, and SRM 2890 specifications and is certified to contain 20.9% oxygen. It can be used for calibration and bump testing of gas detectors and analyzers. The cylinder is refillable and is marked with a 10 year requalification date from the manufacture date. It requires a CGA-590 compatible regulator to dispense the gas.

This electric Bunsen burner combines the advantages of a regular gas burner with the clean and easy operation of a heating mantle. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel burner features a cone-shaped coiled resistance heater which directs radiant heat out from the cavity. Cooling vents circulate air to cool the base, making it possible to hold while in use. A detachable cowl also deflects heat from the medium surface.
Ideal for noncontact radiant heating of materials in test tubes, crucibles, small flasks, and beakers. Effective heating of a test tube sample should be done 25 mm above the top of the burner. Crucible heating may be achieved by removing the cowl.
Note: To regulate the power input and temperature of the Bunsen burner, a heating controller is required. Without a controller, the burner operates continuously at full heating power. The Bunsen burner can be purchased with or without the recommended controller (order controller separately).

It can be used for calibration and bump testing of gas detection instruments. The cylinder is DOT approved and comes with a certificate of analysis from the manufacturer specifying the gas concentrations. The product has a 12 month shelf life and is available in high pressure cylinder sizes of 34L, 58L, 103L. It requires the use of proper regulators, gauges, and flow control equipment.
